Registration Information

Eastlake Little League primarily serves the northern half of Sammamish; within the Lake Washington School District boundary. Little League International requires all participants at every level in a local league must either reside and/or attend school within the boundary of the league. Players that do not reside within a league boundary but attend a school that is physically located within the league boundary are permitted to participate in that league with full eligibility. You will be asked to verify your players address or school during registration. Eastlake Little League does not require you to provide proof of residence to register for the Little League season. You do NOT have to upload a school enrollment or residency verification at this time.

Softball Division and Registration Guide


T-ball/A (Ages 5-7) $99	This program is geared toward teaching sound softball fundamentals, such as proper throwing, fielding and batting techniques in a casual environment. This is your child’s first opportunity to hit a pitched softball or use a hitting T. An adult pitcher will underhand pitch to your child. A 9” safety (squishy) ball is used.
AA (Ages 7-8) $175	At this level of play there is increased focus on basic skills, teamwork, respect for coaches and umpires, and the rules of the game while still retaining a fun atmosphere. Coaches pitch to the players using a soft safety 11" softballl. Team formation is based upon home school as much as possible. Expect either a game and a practice or two games each week.
AAA (Ages 9-10) $250	Players pitch for the first time and stealing is introduced! Coaches still pitch to a player because walks are not allowed, although strike outs are. This is the entry into competitive baseball with increased emphasis on basic skills, playmaking decisions, teamwork along with respect for umpires and coaches. Intensity level of play appropriately increased. Safety 11" softballs are used. Balanced teams are formed as Managers DRAFT players to be on their team using results from the mandatory player evaluation. Scorekeeping and game scores are all introduced. Expect one practice and one game each week OR two games a week.
Coast (Ages 10-11) $250	The level of competition increases as players pitch with steals allowed. Emphasis on basic skills, playmaking decisions, teamwork and respect for umpires and coaches. 11" regulation softball will be used. Balanced teams are formed as Managers draft players to be on their team using results from the mandatory player evaluation. Scorekeeping and game scores are kept. Expect one practice and two games each week or two games.
Majors (Ages 11-12) $250	Advanced, competitive play. Emphasis on refining of all skills learned at previous levels. Balanced teams are formed as Managers draft players to be on their team using results from the mandatory player evaluation. 12" regulation softball will be used. Scorekeeping and game scores are kept. Expect one practice and two games each week or two games. All 12 year old players must register to play Majors.
Juniors (Age 13- 14) $250 $250	Advanced, competitive play. Players must be ready to add more skill and strategy to their game. Defensive awareness along with knowing where to make the play and how to run the bases becomes a more critical part of the game.

Player Evaluation

If your child plans to play AAA, Coast, or Majors division they must attend the Softball Skills Evaluation. This is necessary so that balanced teams can be created and your child can experience a safe, enjoyable, and competitive environment. Based on evaluations, players may be contacted and/or asked to consider the next level up to fill a roster to ensure balanced teams for competitive play. Further information regarding evaluations will be communicated at the end of January.

Scholarship Information

Eastlake Little League offers scholarships for families where our fee would present a hardship. Please contact the Registration Officer ([email protected]) for more information prior to submitting your registration.

Cancelation and Refund Policy

Parents may cancel their child’s enrollment in an Eastlake Little League program or activity at any time.

Eastlake Little League will not issue a refund after a child has played in a sanctioned game, practice, or event. Prior to playing in a sanctioned game, practice, or event a refund of the registration cost minus an $30 administrative fee will be issued.
